We would like to inform you that the data centre DC06 will be undertaking main generator servicing

There is no planned service impact, this is an advisory note, as there will be reduced resilience to services within and transiting the facility whilst the maintenance is being carried out.

In the unlikely event of a utility failure during the service and testing period, the load will be held by the UPS system as per normal and secondary generator will operate until the main generator is brought back online.

Once the maintenance work is complete a blackout test will be performed to confirm all systems are operating as per specification.

Specialist Generator contractors will be on site to complete the scheduled maintenance, supervised throughout.

After servicing DC06 Datacenter will undergo a full load generator test.

This will involve simulation of a power failure to the site.

There will be no planned service impact, this is an advisory note, as there will be reduced resilience whilst the maintenance is being carried out. Power will remain unaffected to customer racks, but with reduced resiliency during the maintenance period. However, in the unlikely event of a utility failure during the testing period, the load will already be on the generators and would be returned to mains service at the earliest opportunity.
