Scheduled - In around 3 weeks we will be retiring the DNS resolver known as 195.110.184.35. Its replacement 185.180.184.35 is already online.
If your router is using the default option to 'learn DNS from provider' or 'use ISP DNS', 'use peer DNS' etc then no change is required. If you have manually set your DNS for some reason, we recommend that you check which DNS server you are using, and replace the old IP with the new one ASAP.

This maintenance window is to update the core routers with the new address, which should cause no impact, some PPP sessions may drop, but then immediately reconnect. We apologise if you are impacted by this.

Resolved - This issue was caused by a routine BAU config change which the router did not accept as expected. This caused the router to partially reload and some traffic was dropped while the network converged. We apologise it you were impacted we will be reviewing the process to ensure this does not happen again.

Monitoring - The router has now fully recovered and processing traffic normally. We are investigating the cause of the problem, but do not anticipate a recurrence. Apologies if you were impacted by this issue.

Identified - An issue has been identified with a core router in London, this is being investigated.

Scheduled - During this maintenance window we will be performing various resilience checks on our core IP network. It is anticipated that traffic will re-route automatically during these works however the network should be considered "At Risk" and there may be some short periods of instability during this maintenance window
