Scheduled - DC06 Datacenter will undergo a full load generator test on the below date.
This will involve simulation of a power failure to the site.
There will be no planned service impact, this is an advisory note, as there will be reduced resilience whilst the maintenance is being carried out.
Power will remain unaffected to customer racks, but with reduced resiliency during the maintenance period.
In the unlikely event of a utility failure during the testing period, the load will already be on the generators and would be returned to mains service at the earliest opportunity.

Scheduled - During this window a third party will be carrying out maintenance work to a power supply impacting the primary backhaul to Kimmeridge, Tyneham, Church Knowle and the surrounding areas. Connectivity will automatically re-route to a backup path which may result in service degradation or brief outages.

Due to the nature of the work required, this must take place during daylight hours.

Scheduled - Due to expansion of equipment we will be replacing the UPS battery backup system at DC07 / PAN site, to give higher capacity and extended runtime. This should cause no interruption as all equipment is dual fed, however this site will have reduced resilience during the works.

Customers potentially at risk from these works:
FTTH/FTTP/SoGEA in Poole, Parkstone. FWA customers in Swanage and surrounding areas.

Resolved - Power has been restored. No customer impact

Identified - Following a lightning storm earlier in the evening in the Lulworth and Kimmeridge area, power has been lost to one of our key sites for delivering connectivity to this area.
This site is on battery backup, and we have contacted the landlord to get the power issue investigated, which is under way.
In the meantime services in Kimmeridge and surrounding areas will be at risk of interruption and degradation.
