Completed - Due to unforeseen circumstances this planned work has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Scheduled - Following switch vendor recommendations we will be carrying out a phased upgrade of the core FWA switches at all of our sites. During this work the switch will be rebooted, and then upgraded. This impact will vary at each site.
DC06 Impact: some FWA traffic and Ethernet circuits terminating directly into DC06 will drop twice for up to 20 mins during the maintenance window. Please raise a ticket if you require more details on this work.

Update - The switch issue in DC06 has been resolved.
In the meantime the impact from removing the redundant pop from the network has caused bigger problems than expected, particularly for customers in Bournemouth Area. We are working through these now and hope to resolve shortly. Apologies if you are affected.

Update - During these works a problem has been encountered with a switch in DC06. this is being worked on now, but may mean some services in DC06 will be down for a short period, mainly circuits which terminate there.

No impact is expected however there is a slight chance of a reconvergence which may cause intermittent website access and pages to load more slowly than usual, hence we are carrying the work out during this maintenance window as a precaution and to ensure network stability.

Monitoring - The problem has been traced to a faulty optic which was causing low light levels. This has now been replaced and normal levels observed. We are monitoring.

Identified - We have seen this service drop again and are investigating the fibre now.

Monitoring - We are seeing low light levels on the fibre feeding this site. Although it is back in service now, further investigation will take place tonight to correct this issue.

Resolved - Service has now been restored, the replacement of the faulty part resolved the issue. Apologies if you affected by this issue,

Update - Our supplier is working to resolve the issue. They have identified a faulty part and are now waiting for the replacement part to arrive.
The replacement part is due onsite before midnight. Impact is low for most customers , we have a loss of resilience only, as there is sufficient capacity on our other circuits to provide service.

Update - Our supplier has identified a power issue in one of their facilities and are working to restore this.

Update - The supplier is continuing to check transmission on this fibre circuit. Impact is low for most customers as there is sufficient capacity on our other circuits to provide service.

Identified - Our primary circuit into DC06 is currently down. This would have caused a brief blip while traffic moved over to other circuits. We have raised a ticket with the supplier and await their updates.
