Scheduled - The Riello UPS's powering A & B Feeds to racks at DC06 in Poole are scheduled to be inspected and serviced by specialist UPS contractors.

The UPS's will be worked on in turn, with 1 UPS being fully online and protected while the other is worked on. It may be required to bypass the UPS being worked on and the affected feed to be running from the mains , with the associated loss of UPS resilience. If this is required and in the event of a power cut the other feed will still be backed by generator but will lose power during the transition.

As all racks are dual fed with 'A' and 'B' feeds no disruption is anticipated.

Scheduled - The Riello UPS-A powering A-Feed to racks at DC06 in Poole is scheduled to have some preventative maintenance carried out.

During the works it will be required for the A-feed to be disconnected and / or bypass the UPS and be running from the mains, with the associated loss of UPS resilience for this feed. In the event of a power cut the A-feed will still be backed by generator but will lose power during the transition.

The B-Feed will remain backed-up by UPS-B and generator as usual, and as all racks are dual fed with 'A' and 'B' feeds no disruption is anticipated.

Resolved - Our supplier located the damage earlier today, but it could only be accessed out of hours. They've now been able to perform the repair, and the failed link is back up again, this incident is resolved.
Feb 7, 10:45 GMT
Identified - We have a link down between DC03 <> DC04, the supplier is aware and repairs under way. This is not causing any operational issues, as there is a backup path however there is a reduction in resilience while this link is out of service.
